A Successful Season

A month has past since the end of the winter shelter season. As I look back, it has been met with a lot of accomplishment and I would go as far as to say it has been one of our more pleasant seasons in recent years. We set new highs in both the total number of guests per night and the total number of guests who used our services.

We concluded our second Women’s Shelter season where we doubled the number of women sheltered and fed.

Over the course of the summer we are going to dig into our statistics, revise or amend shelter guidelines and find ways to improve what we do and find new partners willing to join us as we minimize the impact of homelessness in our community.

We have secured a permanent shelter location for both programs and in the next few months the structure will be modified to suit our needs. Watch our website for opportunities to give as we try to raise funds to get the site up and running in the coming months.

Follow us as we continue our homeless ministry. And if you feel compelled, consider helping us move forward. We need compassionate and intelligent people who have a heart and a desire to make a difference in someone’s life. Contact us today!
